FREDDIE GIBBS TO TOUR MIDWEST THIS JANUARY IN SUPPORT OF STR8 KILLA EP
Freddie Gibbs, the preeminent MC from Gary, Indiana, has announced a Midwestern headlining jaunt this winter, delivering songs from his numerous mixtapes as well as the Str8Killa EP that dropped on Decon this August. Freddie has spent a great deal of 2010 in the studio while making one-off appearances on stages in every corner of the country and is primed to devastate audiences with his razor sharp delivery.

Freddie’s incomparable crowd control is a sight to witness. A haze of thick smoke hangs above the stage as he rides the booming low end and skittering hi-hats of internet hits such as “The Ghetto” and “National Anthem”, both of which have also seen video spins on MTV. Backed by a colorful supporting entourage, Freddie holds audiences captive in the palm of his free hand while wielding the microphone and coaxing the crowd into a frenzied sea of waving hands and nodding heads.
