This is a tough couple weeks in the Crush Ent Family as we mourn the passing of Michael and people much closer to us (RIP MPOZI), as always we try to make some lemonade over here during these days and I think that these Michael Mixes are the remedy! they are re imaginings of Michael and what he would sound like on today's Pop radio with the likes of Ne-Yo, Usher, BEP, B.o.B, and Drake, among others. These mixes were aired live on RadioNow 100.9 this past Saturday and I thought you may enjoy a copy for yourselves.

This track is off of the Mick Boogie collaboration tape SouthernPlayalisticMaybachMusic from Big Boi and Rick Ross which features Ross on some of Big Boi’s tracks and vice versa. Excuse me for being semi-absent today, I’m packing things for my trip to Atlanta this weekend as well as my move to Chicago next week so things have been a little crazy. Neighborhood Nip Hussle links up with Lloyd yet again for another dope record with production from 1500 Or Nothin’. Fred Lockett and myself gave the Brand New Rane 68SL mixer for a test run this evening and I have to say it was MAJORLY impressive. Although it was a little confusing at first, we got it to work with a combo of both CDJ's and 1200's. We found the routing of the signal paths easy to navigate and the Effects are on par with the Pioneer M800, as a matter of fact it looks a bit like the Pioneer, but it is a little brighter and a bit smaller and lighter. The cue/bank buttons are easy to use and when using the 2 laptop configuration, you can switch between laptops with the flip of a switch. For never using this mixer it really does allow 2 dj's to work together pretty well. I would imagine battle dj's may find the lack of an extra cross fader a bit frustrating, but for club performance, I can't imagine needing much more. Peep the video below and even though both Fred and myself don't enjoy working with CDJ's and this mixer is as brand new as it gets and you can see how much fun it is rocking with it. Switchovers are achieved by clicking the prompt just below your Modes and it is a very smooth transition. Overall, we gave it 4 thumbs up and will be rocking it together soon in a club near you as a dynamic Duo! Peep the vids, kids!

Wow Wow Wow. Raw, filthy, in your face, just a few ways I would describe this beat. It fits the name of the track to a tee, if you know anything about history that is. I don’t really have anything else to say. Do yourself a favor, check this piece out, and tell me the last time you heard a beat like this.
