Exciting as the prospect of pushing buttons and scratching records in simulation of pushing buttons and scratching records might be, Activision's expansion into the realm of the DJ Hero has netted online demand "well below" expectations. Not even Daft Punk contributing their likenesses and 11 exclusive mixes could get the buzz up. But while online interest in the game might be low, online interest in hearing the 93 mashups is likely higher, or so we're assuming with this post. We have 3 for you to hear, here:

The Indiana Pacers Tip Off Tonight in Atlanta at 7pm. They will most likely be without the help of All Star Danny Granger (Pictured Above). That's not a good look for my favorite team but I got a good feeling about this season! Go Pacers! I just saw this on  Indy Cornrows:

Well that didn't take too long to deflate the premiere of the new blue and gold squad.

Mike Wells, of the Indianapolis Star, tweeted this afternoon that Indiana Pacers star forward Danny Granger is now listed as doubtful for Wednesday's season-opening contest at Atlanta. Granger, who missed the past two days of practice, is reportedly nursing a bone bruise in his heel.

Granger joins veteran Jeff Foster as the only players questionable for the team's first outing of the season. The injury bug has struck just about every player on the roster at some point during the summer or preseason. If Granger and Foster are dressed in street clothes, they will join injured rookie Tyler Hansbrough and the recovering Mike Dunleavy. Granger played in 67 games last season.

I'm thinking that Granger won't let a bone bruise stop him from playing tomorrow night. But I also saw what appeared to be a horse mounting a cow when I was driving through the rural roads of Johnson County this morning. So, anything is possible. Stay tuned for more updates.

The fellas (or fella) over at Yourstru.ly, a music vlog based in Toronto, have had some excellent opportunities to catch up with some of the most promising rising artist to chat. Their credits include artists such as Melanie Fiona, Wavves, and The Very Best. In this particular episode Yours Truly gets up close and personal with Freddie Gibbs, also known in his hometown of Gary, Indiana as Gangsta Gibbs. Gary’s last shining star is known as the King Of Pop, and is also one of the most enigmatic names in history. Granted both men come from the same side of the tracks, different times call for different measures.

Freddie comes from a Gary, Indiana that has been several times listed and still is to this day one of the most dangerous cities in America. Fuck the gimmicks, the fame and the jewelry, there are no egos here, just a story teller and his experiences. Taking cues from artists like Bone Thugs, Twista, 2Pac, Biggie and even Andre 3000, Gibbs’ content takes you on a mental ride through his hood with detailed decriptions of what goes down. Freddie’s flow, albeit stylistically his own, are peculiarly recollective homages to his legendary predecessors. Earlier today TheFader premiered a track by the supergroup Chauffeur.  The coming together of Mark Ronson, Sam Sparro & Theophilus London sounds very intriguing & this 1st track by the threesome is very promising.  This track was produced by Ronson specially for Gucci’s Icon-Temporary pop-up stores as they unveil Gucci’s new boat-sneaker, which was designed by Mark Ronson. I’m definitely diggin this!!!!!
